5. Thinking
This way be a slightly odd one, but trust me it works. Ever thought of snuggling under the covers, turning on some mellow music and sorting your thoughts, seeing where it will take you? Well, guess what? It works. Using this method, time passes by quickly and helps you sort out worries and reflect on your goals.
4. Podcasts
They are perfect for times like this. A long form of entertaining which is both funny and thought provoking, which makes time fly on days like this. Apps like Spotify have gazillions of podcasts of various different genres - sport, cooking, news & politics.
3. Showering
You are going to have to have some belief with this one. The next time you're feeling bored, and even your phone doesn't satisfy you, hop in the shower for a few minutes and you will hopefully find that it isn't an efficient way to recharge.
2. Exercise
Whether what you are into is push-ups, or planks or running, exercising is a great way to keep your mind and body refreshed. You don't even have to do it for long, simply 10-20 minutes can make you feel good and happy again.
1. Communicate and Socialize.
Not the most important on the list for no reason! The best cure to boredom is communicating and socializing with people, whether that be people in your house or by phone or video call, talking to other humans (who are probably bored too) is the way to avoid boredom! You can talk for 10 minutes, or play a game for 30 minutes, or even if you feel ambitious share a podcast-like hour long conversation over the phone or face-to-face.
Happy Isolation Times!
